The 41-year-old Manchester by the Sea star stepped out on Friday to attend the premiere of her new film, Showing Up. Williams made her baby bump debut after revealing earlier this month that she is expecting her third child.
On the red carpet, the Blue Valentine actress donned a Chanel Haute Couture black-and-white maxi dress with lace embellishments. She completed her ensemble with white Chanel ballerina flats with a black toe and a diamond necklace.
Williams revealed her pregnancy on the cover of Variety on May 10. Her second child with spouse Thomas Kail, whom she married in 2020, will be born in 2020. Hart, the couple’s 23-month-old son, is already a member of the family.
“It’s completely wonderful,” the Greatest Showman actress said at the time. “As the year’s pass, you begin to worry what they may or may not contain for you.” It’s thrilling to realize that something you’ve wanted repeatedly is now accessible once again. Williams who is expecting her first child this autumn, addressed up about parenting Matilda without Ledger in May, noting that actor Jeremy Strong became someone she could count on during difficult times.
“Jeremy was serious enough to carry the weight of a child’s shattered heart and sensitive enough to understand how to approach her through play, games, and foolishness,” the Venom star said to Variety.
The Montana native said that the Succession actor, 43, moved in with her and Matilda to assist her in being a single parent. He has been someone her daughter looks up to as a father figure since then.
“[Matilda] didn’t grow up with her father, but she grew up with her Jeremy, and his ability to perform as if his life depended on it impacted us,” she continued. “We’ve seen him work harder than anybody else and wait a long time for others to notice. So when he became famous, we all rejoiced.”
