Europe’s largest car-maker Volkswagen launched two new variants of its luxury sedans Passat and the Jetta in India. The Passat will now come with TSI 1.8 litre petrol engine priced at Rs 19.20 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), while the Jetta 2.0 litre diesel priced at Rs 15.92 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Volkswagen launched its much-awaited premium hatchback, the New Polo in Mumbai. polo will be available in two variants — petrol and diesel. Both the variants are equipped with 1.2L engine. The petrol variant of Volkswagen Polo is priced at Rs 4.34 lakhs (ex showroom New Delhi) while the 1.2L diesel variant comes at Rs 5.32 lakhs (ex-showroom New Delhi). Deliveries of the new 1.2L 75HP New Polo petrol variant will begin from March 2010 onwards across all Volkswagen dealerships, says a company release.
