Tata Motors’ total sales (including exports) of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles in December 2010 were 67,441 vehicles, a growth of 31% over 51,627 vehicles sold in December 2009. The domestic sales of Tata’s commercial and passenger vehicles for December 2010 were 61,632 units, 28% growth over 48,173 vehicles sold in December last year.

After the extended warranty offer for its small car in a bid to lure more customers, Tata Motors through its financial arm, Tata Motors Finance (TMF), has launched a special Tata Nano finance scheme, under which a customer can get a loan with select documents in just 48 hours.

Tata Motors announced to open sales of the Tata Nano in Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh from November 22, 2010. Tata Motors on Monday announced the commercial launch of the Tata Nano, keenly awaited across India since it’s unveiling on January 10, 2008.
