The Leela Kempinski Hotel and Residences, Gurgaon

The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts launched its first property in northern India – The Leela Kempinski Hotel and Residences – in the gateway business district of Gurgaon, Delhi (NCR).

Located within 15 minutes drive from the Indira Gandhi International Airport and on the Delhi-Gurgaon border, The Leela Kempinski Gurgaon offers 322 luxuriously appointed guestrooms and suites and 90 Residences in configuration of one, two and three bedroom options.

The Leela Kempinski, Gurgaon is the first amongst the upcoming properties of The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts in north India. It not only marks the foray of Leela’s presence in the region, but is also the first managed property of the group.

Commenting on the management collaboration, Capt. C P Krishnan Nair, Chairman, The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts said, “It is a momentous occasion for us to have opened the first business hotel in north India. Our management alliance with Ambience Group, headed by the well recognised Mr. Raj Singh Gehlot is an important milestone in the group’s expansion plan. At The Leela Kempinski, Gurgaon, our patrons and guests will experience the same distinguished hospitality as experienced elsewhere in other Leela hotels.”

Further speaking on the opening, Mr Raj Singh Gehlot, Chairman, Ambience Group said, “We are delighted to join hands with the Leela and in bringing the experience of foremost Indian chain to the city of Gurgaon. The hotel is amongst several other key luxurious projects at the Ambience Island. The addition of The Leela Kempinski is an integral part of this mixed-use complex, qualifying the Ambience Island as a luxury destination for residents, visitors and guests.”

The hotel guestrooms are a balanced synthesis of space, beauty and advanced technology. The rooms feature a full range of modern amenities and facilities including Wi-Fi internet connectivity, Internet Protocol (IP) Phones, LCD Television with Blue Ray Player, Bose iPod Dock, electronic safes and Ergonomic mattresses. Two exclusive floors of The Royal Club offer guests personalised and complimentary services with added Royal Club Lounge facilities.

Amongst dining alternatives is a unique 225 capacity  restaurant with live kitchens  – Spectra; an elegantly designed 112 capacity Indian  restaurant – Diya;  76 seating capacity Italian restaurant – Zanotta and an eclectic Bar. Apart from this, the hotel has an exclusive Business Club offering membership by invitation only. Located at the upper lobby level the Club’s plush interiors offer a relaxed ambience for unwinding.

The hotel offers the largest banqueting facilities in the region with over 27,000 sq ft of function space including pillar-less ballrooms, board rooms and meeting rooms with state-of-the-art equipment that meets the most advanced requirements of discerning social  getaways and business functions. In addition, a full service Business Centre is offered to guest for their business needs.

For the relaxation needs of the guests is the outdoor heated Swimming Pool with spectacular views of the city greens, the state-of-the-art Fitness Centre with TechnoGym equipments, Yoga & Aerobic Studios and a full service Beauty Salon.
