Reliance Communications introduces Pay Per second billing
Joining the new tariff war, Reliance Communications (RCOM) launched pay per second billing plan. RCom expands its ‘Simply Reliance Initiative’ with two new tariff variants effective November 5, 2009. These new variants aim to offer an all-round product portfolio under Simply Reliance Initiative.
Rcom will charge 1 paise per second for short duration calls, Re 1 for 3 minutes’ call rate for long duration calls. For short duration callers, Reliance is launching 1paise/second single call rate. For those with standard call duration, Reliance will continue offering 50p/second tariff rate.
Commenting on the expansion of Simply Reliance Initiative to new offerings, Mr Mahesh Prasad, President, Reliance Communications said, “The launch of Simply Reliance Plan in October was very well received in the market, both by customers & trade. Customers across India have appreciated our endeavour to offer single, simple and transparent tariff on all local, STD and roaming calls. We now extend the Simply Reliance Initiative by offering two new products catering to varied customer needs with the same simplicity & unconditional transparency.”
Reliance Communication is launching new tariff variants under its Simply Reliance Plan. These two new offerings reiterate the commitment of Simply Reliance Plan with ‘No Conditions’, No Monthly Recharge’& ‘Any Network Anytime’ benefits.
Reliance is launching these plans across both its CDMA and GSM networks offering tremendous savings potential. “Most of the competitive offers in reaction to Simply Reliance Initiative have fallen short with various restrictions, conditions and limited to calls on the same network in the home zone,” Mr Prasad added.
