SpiceJet to start flight service to Madurai from Sep 27
Low-fare airline, SpiceJet will start flight service to Madurai adding the temple town as its 20th destination and increasing its presence in the southern region, a company release stated. Accordingly, SpiceJet will commence the first flight service between Madurai and Chennai will begin on September 27, connecting onwards to Delhi and Mumbai.
SpiceJet’s Chief Commercial Officer, Samyukth Sridharan, said that the company inducted 22nd aircraft and wanted to expand its presence in the Southern region. Madurai is among the top three industrial towns of Tamil Nadu. It is the only airport in India serving six Lok Sabha constituencies, he says. adding that the company is eager to announce Madurai as its 20th destination.”
