SpiceJet adds new flights, enhances connectivity
New Delhi, May 6, 2009
SpiceJet, India’s low-cost airline, has introduced new flights enhancing connectivity on its existing network. The new flights will now offer additional connections out of key cities Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Kochi. With these new flights, SpiceJet has added 8 more flights and will have a total of 125 daily departures effective May 10, 2009.
Samyukth Sridharan, Chief Commercial Officer – SpiceJet Ltd., said “Our focus remains providing convenient timings and better connectivity for our passengers. These new connections between key cities will certainly help business travelers as well as all who are keen to visit friends and families this holiday season.”
“We have carried the maximum number of passengers in and out of Delhi among all airlines in February and March 2009. With the introduction of these new flights we now offer more seats and better choices to people keen to travel in and out of Delhi,” he added.
SpiceJet now has 6 daily flights between Delhi and Mumbai; 3 daily flights between Delhi and Kolkata; 3 daily flights between Delhi and Ahmedabad; 2 daily connections between Delhi and Kochi.
