Jet Airways starts Mumbai-Johannesburg flights

Private carrier Jet Airways has begun daily non-stop flights from Mumbai to Johannesburg. Jet Airways will operate Airbus 330-200 aircraft on the route, a company statement said.

Jet Airways CEO Nikos Kardassis said that there was an untapped potential in this route and it would cater to the travel needs of the corporate and leisure flyers.

The airline will provide onwards connections from Johannesburg to other African cities like Harare, Victoria Falls, Windhoek, Livingstone, Lilongwe, Blantyre, Bulawayo,

Gaborone, Maputo, Kinshasa and Lagos among others.
Johannesburg is the twenty-third destination in Jet Airways’ international network. Jet Airways flights currently fly to international destinations including New York, Toronto, Brussels, London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Colombo, Bangkok, Kathmandu, Dhaka and Kuwait.
