Suzuki launches new Alto mini car in Japan
Suzuki Motor Corporation has launched new Alto, a mini car in Japan. The new Alto is the seventh generation car, which offers excellent fuel economy and user-friendliness. Suzuki targets more than 7,000 units monthly sales of the seventh generation car Alto in the domestic market.
The first-generation Alto made its market debut in May 1979. During the subsequent three decades, the Alto has embodied Suzuki’s customer-focused philosophy by evolving to meet contemporary customer needs.
New Alto features of outstanding fuel economy and environmental compatibility. The new Alto reflects reductions in fuel consumption and exhaust emissions. Notably, a light body and a continuously variable transmission (CVT) with an auxiliary transmission help to realize fuel economy of 24.5km/L.
