Nissan India to launch new versions of X-Trail and Teana

Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd (NMIPL), a subsidiary of Japan's second largest automaker Nissan Motor Ltd is all set to launch two updated versions of its Nissan X-Trail and Teana models into the Indian market.

Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd (NMIPL), a subsidiary of Japan’s second largest automaker Nissan Motor Ltd is all set to launch two updated versions of its Nissan X-Trail and Teana models into the Indian market.

These two new versions are likely to be launched on September 16, 2009 by Mr. Kiminobu Tokuyama, Managing Director & CEO, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd.

However, the company hasĀ  not revealed the pricing and technical specifications. It is still not clear when Nissan will launch the mid segment cheaper cars for the Indian market.

The Nissan X-Trail and Teana is equipped with the powerful 2.2 litre dCi diesel engine and an intelligent all mode 4×4 system which makes the maneuvering pleasurable with its fingertip controls. The X-Trail is expected to keep the fuel-economy levels in check.
