Mercedes-Benz launches new E-Class car Cabriolet in India
Mercedes-Benz India launched the E-Class Cabriolet in India at Rs 64.5 lakh. The four-seater E-Class Cabriolet has been equipped with retractable soft top roof. The new car, E-Class Cabriolet, is the seventh offering in the E-class range by the company in India.
The E-Class E 350 Cabriolet is powered by a 3.5-litre engine delivering 272 hp (@6000 rpm) output and a torque of 355 Nm (@ 2400 – 5000 rpm).
The E-Class Cabriolet combines comfort, elegance and year-round usability with the premiere feature of the AIRCAP. AIRCAP is an automatic wind deflector that can be deployed at the touch of a button to significantly reduce turbulence in the vehicle’s interior. The closed E-Class Cabriolet offers one of the quietest interiors in the segment of four-seater premium soft-top cabriolets.
The top can be open or closed at the touch of a button in only 20 seconds – even while driving at speeds of up to 40 km/h. Like all E-Class models, the Cabriolet also offers an outstanding level of safety with standard equipment that include the ATTENTION ASSIST drowsiness detection system, PRE-SAFE predictive occupant protection, the intelligent light system among others.
“The E-Class Cabriolet heralds a new era of Open top motoring. With its launch, the versatility of the E-Class range is further reinforced; the E-Class now offers the Cabriolet in addition to already present the E-Class Saloon and the E-Class Coupe. The E-Class has seven offerings for the discerning customers who seek individuality, expression and dynamism through the cars they drive” commented Dr. Wilfried Aulbur, Managing Director, Mercedes-Benz India Pvt. Ltd.
