Maruti Suzuki new SX4 sedan

Now, Maruti Suzuki SX4 fans have more reasons to cheer! To strengthen its position in sedan segment,  Maruti Suzuki launched the revamped new SX4 sedan with a price tag ranging from Rs. 6.68 lakh – Rs. 8.36 lakh, (ex-showroom Delhi), in competition with segment leader Honda City. The newly launched sedan comes with an engine powered by the advanced VVT technology.  The revamped SX4 also possess the newly introduced 4-speed automatic transmission as well as the traditional manual transmission.

The 4-speed automatic transmission addresses the needs of today’s cosmopolitan customers for convenience in the stop-start city traffic conditions. The new SX4 with a range of contemporary features is sure to win many a hearts.”
 
The Maruti Suzuki SX4, new version belongs to the first A-3 segment sedans to be BSIV compliant in the country. It also has a brand-new sporty honeycomb grille and 10-spoke 16 inch alloy wheels and dual tones interiors and plush upholstery.

With a more efficient engine, the new SX4 has ARAI certified mileage of 15.6 km per litre of petrol. The superior technology engine helps the SX4′s four-valve. The new 1.6 litre petrol engine is BSIV complaint with a new emission norms and that will  produce a maximum power of 104.68ps @5600 rpm. The engine also has a high torque of 145Nm @4100 rpm.

The new SX4 brings in the advanced VVT technology, which has so far been used only in the luxury SUV, Suzuki Grand Vitara.

The interiors have been stylized in new two-tone beige colours to define calmness and luxury within the vehicle. The steering mounted controls are illuminated for easier usage at night, while there is a new provision of USB connectivity on the dashboard.

The new SX4 is available in 2 transmissions – Manual and Automatic. While Manual Transmission has two variants VXi and ZXi, the Automatic Transmission is available in ZXi variant with optional leather upholstery. The ZXi variant also comes with safety features like ABS, EDB, Dual SRS airbags.

The SX4 sedan has a fuel tank capacity of 50 litres and comes with the widest tyres.

The SX4 now comes in an array of seven vibrant metallic colours such as Azure Grey, Pearl, Arctic White, Clear Beige, Silky Silver, Midnight Black and the new French Eclair and Oyster Blue colours.

The price for the manual transmission SX4 VXi is Rs. 6.68 lakh, SX4 ZXi is Rs. 7.37 lakh and SX4 ZXi (Leather) Rs. 7.71 lakh. While the automatic transmission version comes in 2 variants; SX4 ZXi & SX4 ZXi (Leather) with a price tag of Rs. 8.02 lakh and Rs. 8.36 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom New Delhi).
