Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI), leading manufacturer of premium cars in India, continued its upward movement in the first month of the new Financial Year 2009 – 10. The company registered sales of 3,656 units during the month of April’09, an impressive growth of 7.5% over 3,400 units sold during April 2008.
 
Expressing delight over the company’s performance Mr. Jnaneswar Sen, Vice President, Marketing, Honda Siel Cars India Ltd. said, “We have shown resilience during the slowdown and have entered the new financial year on a positive note. We are very excited about our new premium car, Honda Jazz which will be launched very soon in India.”
 
Model wise break-up for April ’09: City: 2,801; Civic: 625; Accord: 230
