Nokia has rolled out its latest multimedia phone – Nokia N96 in India. To be available in the market from September 15, the handset has been priced at Rs 34,999.
The N96 will contain a memory of 16GB that can be augmented to 24GB with an optional microSD card. This will let consumers store hours of media and entertainment.
"In the Web 2.0 era, the new Nokia N96 places the power to shape the Net in your hands. Nokia N96 offers the most personalised mobile internet experience and defines convergence by blending phone and multimedia options seamlessly," Nokia India marketing director Devinder Kishore said.
The N96 can be store upto 18,000 songs, 20,000 images at 5 mega pixel, 60 hours of video or movies. With multifunctional media keys and a 2.8" screen, music, movies and games and will be available at the touch of a button.
The N96, with a 5 megapixel camera, has a Carl Zeiss optics, a dual LED flash and video light. It lets DVD like quality video capture at 30 frames a second.
The N96 will come fully loaded with the Bollywood blockbuster flick 'Om Shanti Om', 50 music videos, a mix of 100 evergreen Hindi and 100 English soundtracks and three country maps with a three-month navigation license across eight cities in India.
