Continuing with the celebrations of its largest ever city launch in Mumbai, Idea Cellular announced that its customers nationwide would be able to pay their respects to Lord Ganesha at Mumbai's Siddhivinayak Temple through video streaming feeds on their handsets.
The service will commence on Wednesday on the occasion of Ganesh Chathurthi. The live streaming of the Siddivinayak Temple feeds on Idea TV mobile service will be available to its pre- and post-paid customers across India.
With this, IDEA becomes one of the first GSM operators to introduce this service on its mobile TV in 2-2.5G environment. Idea Cellular subscribers across India can now offer Darshan and prayers to Lord Ganesha.
The need for remaining abreast with the latest happenings and at the same time remaining entertained has been increasing in leaps and bounds for the people of Mumbai who are always on the move.
Idea Cellular Mobile TV service which uses progressive download is all set to take care of the rising needs of the highly mobile customers at large.
Interested subscribers with a GPRS handset can avail Live Siddivinayak video Darshan feeds by sending a SMS via IDEATV to 55456 and downloading the Video service application Idea TV.
The IDEA Wap portal – Ideafresh accessible at wap.ideafresh.com on an Idea GPRS phone, will also offer a variety of Ganesha special media and content including logos, animation, wallpapers, themes and greeting messages.
The Siddivinayak Darshan Video Feed is available in two subscription options – daily and monthly, including preview option that provides free access to the service for a day. Data browsing charges do not apply, only subscription charges apply.
