China's foray into space

China successfully went into space. Not only a Chinese national walked into the space, but also the team made an aim of moon landing. After emerging as an undisputed winner of Olympics the nation has again displaced the global leaders such as USA and Russia. This has reinforced the super power status of the nation. This surely is a matter of pride for all Chinese nationals worldwide.

For rest of the world, this achievement is nothing but a forceful entry of the Asian superpower in the elite club comprising USA and Russia. Satellite is more over a routine affair for most of the nations in the world, though very few can manufacture one and fewer can successfully launch the satellite.

The Chinese spacewalk is the alarm signal for the world if the world is not willing to accept the Chinese supremacy. The manufacturing hub of the world can also produce quality output is again proved. It is not just the mobile phones, lap top computers and other electronic gadgets, but also the superlative space technologies are now becoming the forte of the dragon.

It surely has a lesson to learn for India. At a moment when out scientists are least recognised and politicians are worshiped, India's progress in space is moving at a speed of tortoise. The progress done by India in space technology and satellite business is the fruit on the trees planted by Indian scientists and entities like ISRO.

Though prime minister of India and other office of higher authority have been talking about the necessity of sending a human being on moon on our own, there are little efforts being done. There is a need of cautious efforts for the same. Though some of our friends have been criticising humongous spend on such space tours when there is no food and potable water for all, it is a prime necessity.

It is not just a matter of pride or snob effect but a scientific achievement that propels us on the path of economic growth and economic development. Also it ensures sovereignty in the long run. Hence there is a need to embark on conscious efforts towards a space journey of an Indian in an Indian space shuttle. Going on moon is as important as cleaning of river Ganges.
