Deccan's 18 new flights take off this summer!

Deccan , India's first low cost airline continues to extend its reach to all parts of the country and has launched eighteen new flights across various sectors.

The new flights commenced operations on 29th March 2008 marking the beginning of the summer schedule. Deccan has also added a new destination- Jorhat to its wide network. Bookings for the flights are open.

Ramki Sundaram officiating CEO Deccan said "Deccan continues to provide unparalleled connectivity across the length and breadth of India. In our new summer schedule we have introduced a slew of flights to new city pairs in addition to increasing operations on key routes. Travelers can look forward to timings that make for convenient business and leisure trips."

Deccan's new flights:
Deccan has introduced first ever air connectivity between Bangalore and Indore and is the only airline connecting Bangalore to Indore and also Nagpur by convenient morning flights. The city pair of Indore and Nagpur too is connected only by the Deccan – Kingfisher combine.

Deccan has launched two daily flights connecting Bangalore and Trichy. With the launch of Deccan's service, Bangalore and Trichy will be linked for the first time ever by air. Jorhat in Assam gets air connectivity with Deccan's new Kolkata – Jorhat - Kolkata (via Guwahati) flight. Deccan has introduced the only direct Lucknow - Mumbai – Lucknow flight and flights between Cochin and Mangalore, the city pair is connected only by the Deccan – Kingfisher combine.
