Jet Airways launch direct flight to Abu Dhabi

Jet Airways has launched direct flights to Abu Dhabi from Mumbai and Delhi, effective April 23, 2008, marking its foray into the United Arab Emirates. The services, which will be operated on a daily basis, will also expand the airline's Gulf route network to five destinations.

Jet Airways' flight 9W 582 (Delhi-Abu Dhabi) will depart Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport at 2100 hours and arrive at Abu Dhabi International Airport at 2335 hours. On the return leg, flight 9W 581 (Abu Dhabi-Delhi) will depart Abu Dhabi International Airport at 0025 hours and arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi at 0520 hours.

Jet Airways' flight 9W 584 (Mumbai-Abu Dhabi) will depart Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport at 2135 hours and will arrive at Abu Dhabi International Airport at 2325 hours. On the return leg, flight 9W 583 (Abu Dhabi-Mumbai) will depart Abu Dhabi International Airport at 0015 hours and arrive at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai at 0450 hours.

 For the convenience of Jet Airways passengers connecting to Dubai and vice-versa, the airline will offer a seamless transfer through scheduled bus services effective April 24, 2008.

Jet Airways bus service 9W 7485, Abu Dhabi to Dubai will depart Abu Dhabi Airport at 0115 hours and arrive Dubai at 0245 hours, while Bus service 9W 7486 will depart Dubai at 2000 hours and arrive Abu Dhabi Airport at 2200 hours to connect to flights from Abu Dhabi to Delhi and Mumbai. '

Jet Airways will introduce Boeing 737-800 Next Generation aircraft on these routes.

Jet Airways launched its operations to the Gulf routes in January 2008 and currently flies to four destinations in the region- Kuwait, Bahrain, Muscat and Doha.
