Jet Airways to begin operations from BIAL

Private carrier Jet Airways will begin operations from the new Bengaluru International Airport (BIAL), effective May 24, 2008. The airline will shift its operations from the existing HAL airport in the city in a seamless manner.

 Three domestic Jet Airways flights to Bengaluru from Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad respectively will touch down at the new BIAL on May 23, 2008.

Jet Airways flight 9W 477 (Mumbai-Bengaluru) will depart Mumbai at 2010 hours, arriving at BIAL at 2145 hours.

Jet Airways flight 9W 834 (Delhi-Bengaluru) will depart Delhi at 1930 hours, arriving at BIAL at 2205 hours.

Jet Airways flight 9W 536 (Hyderabad-Bengaluru) will depart Hyderabad at 2205 hours, arriving at BIAL at 2305 hours.

These flights will be layover flights and will operate out of BIAL on May 24, 2008 on the following sectors:

Jet Airways flight 9W 478 (Bengaluru-Mumbai) will depart BIAL at 0645 hours, arriving in Mumbai at 0820 hours.

Jet Airways flight 9W 517 (Bengaluru-Hyderabad) will depart BIAL at 0625 hours, arriving in Hyderabad at 0725 hours.

Jet Airways flight 9W 531 (Bengaluru-Chennai) will depart BIAL at 0630 hours, arriving in Chennai at 0715 hours.

Jet Airways with the acquisition of JetLite, has a combined fleet strength of 105 aircraft and offer customers a schedule of over 525 flights daily.
