Bajaj Discover 135cc variant launched

Bajaj Auto has rolled out a variant of its 135cc bike Discover DTSi with a pricetag of Rs 46,248- Rs 51,895 (ex showroom Delhi). With this launch, the company is aiming to beef up its presence in the high-end segment.

"The new Discover 135cc is a stylish bike with features that can give its rider an exciting ride and good performance. The newly-launched variant will strengthen our position in the premium segment," Bajaj Auto CEO S Sridhar averred.

Three types of the new Discover 135 DTS-I will be available: They are the Sports, Electric Start and the Kick Start versions.

The launch is set to galvanise the company's motorcycle sales. In June, sales of Bajaj Auto declined 2.5% to 1,20,143 units from 1,23,273 units in the same month last year.
For the April-June period, the company's motorcycle sales was 3,88,328 units, against 3,79,491 units in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, a growth of 2.32%.
