Mahindra Renault Pvt Ltd has launched Logan Edge, a special edition of its popular passenger car, in the country. Kunal Kapoor, actor and brand ambassador for Logan, unveiled the car at a function in the capital.

The new Logan Edge is available in mystique purple and features beige leather seat covers, a wood-finish centre console and a Kenwood music system with remote control and USB/iPod connectivity.

The Logan Edge is also equipped with 'intelligent features' like the reverse parking sensors and a sensitive and safe anti-lock braking system with electronic brake distribution system.

In February 2005, Mahindra & Mahindra and Renault entered into a 51:49 joint venture to produce the Logan in India.
