India's premier carrier Jet Airways has introduced a Chennai-Toronto service, via Brussels, following the induction of a new Airbus 330-200 aircraft. The carrier will operate the services till December 4, 2007, operating four times a week service.
The services would be operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
At Brussels, flights will be synchronised in order to provide passengers seamless transfer between Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai to cities in North America–New York (JFK), Toronto and New York (Newark).
Jet Airways will fly its new Airbus 330-200 aircraft, which will carry its passengers in a two-class layout. The Airbus 330-200 aircraft has been configured for international operations with 30 seats in Premiere Class and 190 seats in the Economy Class. This Next-Generation aircraft promises to offer an international experience in Premiere and Economy Class.
Jet Airways flight 9W 226 (Chennai-Toronto) will depart Chennai International Airport at 0115 hrs and arrive at Brussels at 0715 hrs.
Flight 9W 226 will then depart Brussels at 0915 hrs and arrive at Toronto's Pearson International Airport at 1255 hrs, thus allowing our Chennai passengers a seamless connection to New York (Newark) and Toronto, besides New York (JFK).
On the return leg, Jet Airways flight 9W 225 (Toronto-Chennai) will depart Toronto's Pearson International Airport at 2030 hrs and arrive at Brussels at 0930 hrs. Flight 9W 225 will then depart Brussels at 1130 hrs and arrive at Chennai International Airport at 0140 hrs.
Effective November 4, 2007, the timings of the flights will be changed due to daylight saving time in United States.
