Haig’ from the house of one of the oldest Scotch distillers and blenders, will wind back the clock by bringing together dream machines of a bygone era at the Haig Vintage Rally on 24th Feb (Sunday) at 9:00 am onwards at the Kalagodha.Asif Adil, Managing Director, Diageo India, Mumbai Police Commissioner A.N. Roy and Gul Panag will flag off the Haig Vintage Rally which will see a bevy of more than 180 classic vintage cars.
The feature this year will be Abbas Jasdanwalla’s 1903 Wolseley, S.S. Dabholkar’s 1933 Austin Harley, Peter Travasso’s 1919 Fiat, Fali S. Dhondy’s 1929 Rolls Royce, Sameer Kadam’s 1929 Ford A, media magnate Vivek Goenka’s 1933 Packard, Hemant Ruja’s 1934 Austin 7 and H.N. Cama’s 1937 Buick.
Other attractions include Yohan Poonawalla's Rolls Royce Phantom 3, a convertible marquee formerly owned by the Maharaja of Kota, two Rolls Royces from Ramesh Thakkar's collection and Zaheer Vakil's impeccably preserved Buicks, Jaguars and Rovers. There will also be cars from Dr. Vijay Mallaya’s stables.
