Renault, the French auto major, is expected to go for a price hike of its maiden hatchback in India, Pulse, by 2 percent on the rising input costs. A company official indicated about the possible price hike of the Pulse models in Indore recently.
Pulse was launched at the Delhi Auto Expo in January this year. The entry level Pulse was priced at Rs 5.77 lakh. The price hike may be effected from March 8, 2012.
According to the company, the prices have been revised owing to higher input costs.
