Ford India to hike prices of all its models

From January 1, 2010, Ford India will hike the prices of all its models across the board. The upward price revisions are in the range of Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 40,000 across various model and is due to a steady rise in input costs and exchange rate fluctuations, said a company release.

Qatar Airways explores new destinations; Copenhagen and Barcelona

Qatar Airways added Danish Capital, Copenhagen and Barcelona to its ever-expanding route network during the airline’s summer schedule which begins at the end of March 2010. It was speculated that Doha-based carrier plans to launch two new unnamed European destinations.
Commencement of four weekly flights to Copenhagen, the capital city of Denmark, will see the airline significantly increase its Scandinavian presence. Qatar Airways currently operates flights to the neighbouring Swedish capital, Stockholm, non-stop from Doha.

Maruti to unveil Suzuki SX4 hatchback at Auto Expo 2010

 
Maruti Suzuki will showcase the hatchback version of its popular Suzuki SX4 at Auto Expo 2010 according to a company source. The Prussian Blue Pearl SX4 hatchback model which will be displayed at the Auto Expo 2010 is a 2.0 litre machine which has been exclusively imported for display at India’s biggest auto show.

Fiat Linea & Fiat Grande Punto to cost more from January

Tasting the initial success after the launch in 2009, Fiat has announced that they will revise the prices of its Linea and Grande Punto from January, 2010. The prices of both Linea and Grande Punto will go up by Rs. 15,000 – Rs. 25,000 on an average and the new prices will come into effect from January 1, 2010.
