Tech Mahindra, the IT arm of auto major Mahindra and Mahindra, on Monday declared as the highest bidder for India’s fourth largest software exporter Satyam Computer at a price of Rs. 58 per share. US drug maker Pfizer Inc, announced on Sunday that it will make a tender offer to acquire a 33.77% stake in Pfizer Limited from public shareholders at a price of Rs. 675.00 per share. The offer will represent a total value of up to Rs. 6.8 billion, or approximately $ 136 million.

Bahrain Air announced the launch of their Kozhikode or Calicut operation from April 1, 2009.The schedule has been finalized to suit the convenience of both business travelers and regular passengers. Bahrain Air will operate 3 weekly flights on the Bahrain- Kozhikode route at 20:15 and will arrive at Calicut International Airport at 03:15 am, local time (next day).
