Tech Mahindra, the IT arm of auto major Mahindra and Mahindra, on Monday declared as the highest bidder for India’s fourth largest software exporter Satyam Computer at a price of Rs. 58 per share. US drug maker Pfizer Inc, announced on Sunday that it will make a tender offer to acquire a 33.77% stake in Pfizer Limited from public shareholders at a price of Rs. 675.00 per share. The offer will represent a total value of up to Rs. 6.8 billion, or approximately $ 136 million.

Mercedes-Benz India launches the Special Edition E-Class

German luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz India on Wednesday launched its Special Edition E-Class vehicle specifically tailored for the Indian market, priced at Rs. 43.4 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). General Motors India has launched the “Chevrolet-OK Cars program to buy and sell pre-owned cars. Starts with 9 outlets in select cities, plans to expand network rapidly across the country. Commenting on the launch of the Chevrolet-OK Cars program, P. Bahrain Air starts Kozhikode operation

Bahrain Air announced the launch of their Kozhikode or Calicut operation from April 1, 2009.The schedule has been finalized to suit the convenience of both business travelers and regular passengers. Bahrain Air will operate 3 weekly flights on the Bahrain- Kozhikode route at 20:15 and will arrive at Calicut International Airport at 03:15 am, local time (next day). The other two flights will operate on Saturdays and Mondays.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) unveiled the New Honda Activa. The new scooter will be available in two versions namely, standard and deluxe.
Powered with an 110cc Honda engine, the New Activa comes with a 15% increased mileage. The new Activa Deluxe variant will be the first scooter in the Indian market which has the Combi-brake which enables shorter braking distance and stable braking for a normal rider. The New Honda Activa would be available at a price of Rs 39,800 (New Delhi), Rs 41,300 (Pune), Rs 41,340 (Bengaluru) and Rs 41,320 (Kolkata). The prices mentioned are ex-showroom and of the Std Variant. The Deluxe variant will be launched soon.
