The prices of chickens have nosedived in no time and there are many cases of suspension of orders from institutional buyers.

The problems that a poultry owner faces are far more complex than they appear. There is a need of training which will help him to increase the production and prevent such diseases. This is though a long term measure. However, there are few factors on which we are expected to improve no matter whether it is the advent of bird flu in a particular area or a matter of international importance. It was observed that there were conflicting statements that went out from ministers of state and the health administration of state. Such gross lack of coordination amounts to nothing but confusion in the minds of all concerned.
