The security package contains a comprehensive set of security features. In addition to protection against viruses, spyware and phishing, it also includes a desktop firewall, as well as child protection software. Bluewin Security offers protection for the whole family and the subscription covers up to three PCs in the home.

With Bluewin Security, Swisscom customers can enjoy carefree use of all online activities, without fear of data hackers or computer threats.

Swisscom and F-Secure have been collaborating since May 2006 in the area of virus protection for mobile devices. Swisscom has also made F-Secure  products available at the Bluewin portal. As there has been an increasing consumer demand for security delivered as a service Swisscom has integrated the proven F-Secure security package into its own product portfolio, and offers Bluewin Security as a monthly subscription. Bluewin Security is now available from Swisscom. Users can test the security package for free during the first 30 days, and thereafter pay a monthly subscription fee. During installation of the new product, users can also participate in a give-away contest. By answering questions correctly about data security at the Bluewin Portal, users can win an adventure vacation to Lapland in Finland. The contest runs from October 1 to December 20, 2007.
